Youth Group All-Nighter

Reno Camp Out
August 3-4th
The youth Group has been going to the Reno's for this Camp Out for years. Their house is perfect for it! They have a huge backyard where we can set tents up, and this year a camper for Annabelle and I to sleep in. They have a huge pond, with a zip-line, floating dock, sliding board and swing for the kids to play on. Plus, a huge fire pit to sit around all throughout the night! We had 24 kids show up! Josh was the hero throughout the night. He tried to sleep but was up most of the night with the teens.

We had 4 tents set up, 2 for the girls and 2 for the guys.
Not that anybody used them!

The zip-line broke part way through the night.
:-( But they had fun while it lasted.

This is where Annabelle and I stayed.

Here are the teens in the morning! Not too bad of a group!

Walking Backwards

Annabelle started walking in her walker about 2 days ago, but now she really can move. However, she moves BACKWARDS!!! It is hilarious!! We got her on video this morning, but we don't have digital so I can't post that. :-( For those of you who have been to our house, she moved from the living room all the way into the dining room, which is about 12 feet!

Gabbing with Granny

Granny was missing Annabelle so she called to gab with her. We thought it would be fun to go get the camera and take a pic of her talking to her since Granny can't see her while they are talking. Annabelle was just smiling especially when Granny would say her name!

I held the phone up by the camera,
otherwise she wouldn't look at me!

Urologist Update

As many of you know Annabelle had a UTI about 2 months ago, so we went to see the urologist today. He has set up 2 tests for Annabelle to have in the next few weeks. One test will to see if she has Vesicoureteral Reflux and an ultrasound to check her kidneys. He is putting her on an antibiotic until she has the tests. He said really she should have been put on this after her last infection cleared up. This will prevent any future infections.

Tomorrow she will be 7 months old. They weighed her today and she was 20 lbs. Josh and I measured her and she is 26 1/2 inches.

Here is a pic of the patient!!
Auntie Jenny got her this outfit!

There once was a Girl....

Annabelle's hair is getting so curly in this humidity. I had to take some pics!

Rainy Day Crafts

My diaper bag, didn't come with a changing pad. So today while I was at Joanne Fabrics with my friend, Jen, I picked out fabric for one. Since it has been raining all day, I made this while Annabelle was napping. Thanks to Mom who got me those sewing lessons in 6th grade, I was able to accomplish this fun task! I am so excited about it! I also included a pic of the baby food I've made - Thanks to the Magic Bullet and the Wilsons for getting it for me ;-) I really feel like a stay at home mom now!

I chose a pattern that went with my bag!

Here it is opened. The dark side is
the side I will change her on. It is quilted.
To store it you just fold in half and roll!

I took a hair elastic and sewed the material around it
and created a tie for it. As you can see in the above pic
I attached the tie to the changing pad!

In the plastic bag are carrots, and in the
ice cube trays are pears.
Couldn't resist one of Annabelle,
she now feed herself her WHOLE bottle!

Swinging Day

Lisa, a lady from our church, bought Annabelle this swing a few weeks ago. Today we got time to put it up! She absolutely loved swinging in it! I think this might become something we can do with her in the evenings! She loves being outside and having the wind blow through her hair!
