This is a family tradition that we have been doing since, well, since I can remember! It is one of my favorites and gets you into the Christmas spirit. We celebrate the twelve days of Christmas by giving a small gift each day. As kids we'd get candy, cool pens, ornaments, and socks. Whatever it was we looked forward to every night sitting down as a family and getting to open our gifts. Honestly, one of my favorite parts was watching my mom and dad guess what they got eachother. Some nights they would get eachother the same thing! Anyway, Josh and I started this the first year we were married, and this year have included Annabelle! We guess what eachother got us just like my parents did when I was little. Tonight we both guessed right!
Annabelle knows how the gift bags work!

How fun! I love your faces!
DD! This makes me so happy! TRADITION! We started tonight too! Dad guessed his and I didn't LOL! He gave me a barrel full of monkeys with candy on the bottom. I gave him Tootsie rolls! Britt got a snack size bag of chocolate chip cookies! Kelly is away so we had her roommate get something small for her so she wouldn't miss out on the first night. Remember I did that for you when you were at college?
Love,
Mom

This is such a fun thing to do. Craig started the 12 days of Thanksgiving this year and has not stopped. I am going to be so sad when it is over I love the present on my pillow at night.
