This month we've seen a huge leap in her level of understanding. She knows what we are saying to her and has a great memory. She holds objects up and wants us to tell her what they are.
The dress Grandpa and Grandma put in her Easter Basket
1. On Sunday, March 2nd she got promoted at church to the Toddler Nursery. I know it doesn't sound like that big of a deal, but she has been with our dear, loving nursery workers for 14 months and is now walking so well they had to promote her! We are excited to get to know the new nursery workers!
2. She can show you her belly, and point to her belly button. It always involves lifting up her shirt and she loves that! LOL!
3. New Signs: "HELP". This has come in handy so she is not frustrated when she needs something. "Banana", she likes this one. "Yes" which is an easy one.
4. She has learned to zip and unzip. We put her nebulizer medicine in this cute little zip pouch and teaching her became a GREAT distraction while we gave her treatments twice a day!
5. More new foods she likes are beans (black and kidney!), jello, peaches, and green beans (the last two she hated for awhile, but I kept trying!)
6. She can point to her teeth and likes to try and brush them. She gets to go second in the brushing...after Mommy! She now has 8 teeth, that is 2 more this month!
7. She can crawl down the steps backwards.
8. She attempts to use things the correct way, such as a brush on her hair, a pen on paper, putting a sock or jacket or shirt on and a fork in her mouth, but isn't always quite successful.
9. New words: Duck, deer, ball, bye-bye (JUST TODAY!)
10. She kisses with her mouth closed now (kindof sad!)
She is 21 lbs (she actually lost a pound) and 29 inches (she's been this since 13 months).
