Happy Birthday, Annabelle!

We celebrated today at 1pm with the Mosher side of the family. Fourteen were in attendance, and we had a taco meal, watched Annabelle dig into her cake, and open presents! There was so much to post that I had to do 3 different smileboxes. In case you don't want to view all of them I labeled each one so you know what they are about! ENJOY! Wish you could be here to celebrate with us!

Monthly Milestones

Well Annabelle turns One! It is truly hard to believe that a year ago we were holding our 6 lb 14 oz newborn girl, and now she is little Miss Personality! So much happens in this first year! Here are some new thing she did this month....

December 31st, 2006 about 6:09 PM

Tonight at 6:09! Exactly One year old!

1. She went officially to the sippy cup for every meal on December 2nd!

2. Wednesday, December 5th she stood for the first time. Of all places it was in the bathroom. She was holding onto the tub and let go just to look around. Then at Church she did it for the ladies in the nursery, but this time she stood and clapped to B-I-N-G-O!

3. Friday, December 7th she started using sign language. She can now do "more", "all done" and "Thank you!" She also points to things that she wants! That is not official sign language. :-)

4. Monday, December 10th she started drinking soy milk. We put her on soy milk because of her lactose issues.

5. Sunday, December 23 she took two steps to Mommy. Grandma and Aunt Em got to see and take pictures.

6. Annabelle now plays Peek-a-Boo using her hands!

7. She knows how to show affection. The other day we came back from somewhere and she went to each of us one at at time, gave us a hug and then put her arms out for the next person!

8. She has grown in her word knowledge. She knows things like "sit" and "please, wait" and other simple commands.

9. At the end of this month she finally had her 3rd tooth pop through! We are a bit slow with the teeth, but a nurse told me that the longer the teeth come in the better teeth she will have. Let's hope she is right!

10. She has tried more table food this month including, mashed potatoes, oatmeal, and olives to name a few. The first two she liked, the olives she did not! Her face was hilarious!

Annabelle is 21 lbs (50 percentile) and 28 inches long (25 percentile)

Christmas in Maryland

Here are more photos of our
Christmas in Maryland

Annabelle was showered with lot's of gifts!

Here are three videos of Annabelle.
The first one is my Mom singing a song called
"I'm Going To the Mansion On A Happy Day Express"
My Mom sings this song to every grandchild
she has. If you listen close, Annabelle interacts
and says Yes! just at the right time. At least once
a week my Mom calls and sings to her over the phone.

A Gift that Keeps on Giving

We celebrated Christmas with my family at Thanksgiving. Because some of the gifts my sisters were also receiving I couldn't post our Christmas pictures right away. Annabelle got toys, clothes, videos, and some other cool items. Of all the gifts Josh and I received two gifts will keep on giving and we are very thankful for them. The first is a GPS Garmin, which means we will never use Map Quest again! In fact, we were EXTREMELY thankful for it last night as we went to find our second gift that keeps on giving. We got a digital camcorder/camera! We knew exactly which one we wanted and they had it for a great price at Wal-mart. So after dinner in Toledo last night we went to the nearest Wal-mart and they were sold out of the camera. We asked the sales associate if they had any left at any other Wal-marts in Toledo (since the Garmin told us there were about 7 in the Toledo area). They said there was 1 left at a Wal-mart about 4 miles away. So we hopped in the car and used the Garmin to get there, because it was in an area of Toledo that we had never been to before. We got there and got the last one!

Our Garmin -How did we live without it? :)

This was the first thing recorded, I wasn't happy at the moment, but find it funny now.

This should have been the first thing videoed!

Christmas Morning

There is NO greater gift than God giving his Son to die for us! We are most greatful for the gift of Salvation. We are, also, truly greatful for the way God has blessed our family this year, especially with the addition of Annabelle. It was a joy giving at Christmas this year and watching the wonder of a child! I hope you enjoy our pictures!
